Rev. Counsellor Annie Jorkor Wesley-Swen

The Wesley, Freeman, Swen and Massaquoi families regret to announce the home going of our mother, grandmother, sister aunt and cousin the Rev. Counsellor Annie Hne-A-Nyene Jorkor Wesley-Swen. Rev. Cllr. Swen left us to be with the Lord on June 12, 2022.
She passed shortly after doing what she loves best- serving the Lord at her Church Service at the All Saints World Mission Church in Silver Spring (Burtonsville) MD.
Jorkor , as Annie was affectionately called by close relatives, leaves to mourn her daughters: Mrs. Tomah Horace-Massaquoi (Momo), Ms. Antoinette Kollie, of Gaithersburg MD; sons: Mr. Jasper Freeman and Mr. Levi Kollie of Minneapolis MN, Sister Olive Wesley of Rochester, New York. Brothers: J. Budu Wesley, and Nathaniel Wesley of Liberia. Former husband Mr. Eugene Swen of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchildren: T-Rose Zoey Massaquoi, Momo MJ Massaquoi, Princess B. Kennedy; All her cousins including but not limited to: Cllr. Eugene Freeman of Philadelphia, PA., Mrs. Mary Freeman-Sirleaf of Washington DC, Tode Freeman-Agboglo, Ishmael Peah, and Wannie Freeman-Lemuel ; her All Saints Mission Church Family (this is where she served as associate pastor until, she passed), several close friends and acquaintances; and a host of other relatives in the United States and Liberia. The Rev. Cllr. was Pre-deceased by her Parents: Rev. Jasper Budu Wesley Sr and Mrs. Ella D. Freeman-Wesley; Siblings: Mrs. Janet Wesley Johns, Mrs. Theodosia Wesley-Howard , Mrs. C. Klaneh Wesley-Bruce, Ms. Francis Wesley, and Mr. Harrison Y. Freeman.
On Saturday July 9, 2022, viewing of the deceased will commence at 10 am and Funeral Services will follow at 11 am at Empowerment Temple AME Church at 4217-4221 Primrose Ave, Baltimore, MD 21215. Wake keeping services in Monrovia will take place on Friday July 22, 2022, and Funeral Service will take place Saturday July 23, 2022. Burial will take place at the Kaiser Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Brewerville, Montesarrado County, Liberia thereafter.
