Janga Radiatu Mends-Cole

The Mends-Cole, Witherspoon, Williams, Bryant and Wiles families announce with deep regret the passing of their daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, niece and cousin Janga Radiatu Mends-Cole which sad event occurred in the early morning of Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Benson Hospital in Paynesville, Montserrado County, Liberia.

She was predeceased by both her mother and father Ola Williams-Davis and Samuel Mends-Cole. She is survived by her mother Mrs. Edmonia J. Mends-Cole, her children, Bimba Kromah, Wilbert Witherspoon, Jeff Witherspoon Jr. and Jeffina Witherspoon, one grandchild, Seola Witherspoon, her sisters - Seah Davis, Fatu Yancy, Wilhelmina (Kakay), Evangeline, Selassie(Derrick), Mary, Bindu, Johnetta, & Salome, brothers – Charles, Samuel, Kofi, Edward, Jeremiah (Elsie), Kowah (Lynette), Thomas, &Samuel, Mends-Cole. She is also survived by her uncle, I. Rimisa Williams, Sr.(Rhodel), aunts – Mary T. Bryant, Dr. Kate C. Bryant and Mrs. Comfort Jones and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Arrangement:

Removal: Her remains with be removed from the A.B. Anderson Funeral Home on Lynch Street on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 5:00 pm and taken to the Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church on Broad Street.

Wake keeping: Friday, September 2, 2016, 6:00pm - 9:00pm .The Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church on Broad Street. All tributes will be given at the wake except the church and family tributes which will be given at the funeral.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 3, 2016, 10:00 AM, the Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church on Broad Street.

Interment: Kaiser Memorial Lawn, Brewerville, Montserrado County.
