Cllr. John L. Greaves, Sr.
The Greaves family announces with profound regrets the death of His Honour Cllr. John L. Greaves, Sr., former Associate Justice, Supreme Court of Liberia, former Judge, Monthly and Probate Court, Montserrado County, former County Attorney Montserrado and Margibi Counties, former Deputy Minister of Justice for Codification, former Solicitor General and former Assistant Minister Litigation which sad event occurred on the night of Saturday, January 7, 2012, at the Duside, Firestone Medical Center.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his Widow, Frances R. Deigh Greaves, his children, Fanny M. Greaves, Claudius J.L. Greaves, John L. Greaves, II, Sabina A. Greaves, Johnette L. Greaves and Churchill A. Greaves of Liberia, Carmen B.J. Greaves and Comfort M. Greaves Goley of the United States of America.
His Sisters, Fanny M. Manston of the USA, Marhea Reeves Johnson, of the UK, Anna Greaves Barry of Ecobank, Liberia, Christiana T. Clarke of the Ministry of Transport and Veronica Greaves, foster brother Mr. Robert Yanquaye and a host of other relatives and friends of Liberia and abroad.
At 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2012, his body will be removed from the Samuel A Stryker Funeral Parlors and taken to the Grounds of the Temple of Justice, after which the body will be conveyed to the Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church for wake keeping.
Funeral Services take place on Friday, February 3, 2012, at 10:00 am at the Trinity Cathedral Episcopal Church.
