Verdumi Clarice Anna Morris-Swen

2 Tim 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who loved His appearing.

It is with deep grief that the Swen and Morris families announced the Home-going of their Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Cousin, Verdumi Clarice Anna Morris-Swen, born unto the union of Jacob Franz Morris and Mai-Emma Morris-Morris in Greenville Sinoe County on January 18, 1932. Both parents predeceased her.

She crossed into glory on July 31, 2015 at the S.O.S. Clinic Congo Town Tubman Boulevard at the hour of 5:50 A.M. after a brief illness. Verdumi Clarice Anna Morris will be deeply missed. She leaves to mourn her cherish memory five Children, Maime Wonders Swen, Theodore Emmanuel Swen (Caroline), Musu Wilimenia Swen, Mona A.E.S. Swen-Namayan (John), and T. Edwin Swen Jr. (Angie). (15) grandchildren, Peal (USA)Terrence, Nickie (USA) Lawrence, Verdumi (USA) Push, Wesse, Smallnickle, Gifty, Jojo, Venesa, Emmanuel, Noelle, John, Miracle and Melissa several great-grand children, Five sisters, Jerusha H. Morris, Louise Wayne Morris, Geneva Morris-Clarke, Beatrice Morris-Woart, and Laura Morris, Three brothers, Johnny Chauncey Morris, Joshau Morris, and Samuel Morris, One brother in-law Wilfred Ernest Clarke, one foster daughter Cecelia B. Morris several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends in the U.S.A. Europe, and Liberia.

We Love you mommy. You touched the lives of so many people, and now, you are with Jesus who loves you the best. We missed you so much. Your memory lives forever in our hearts. MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN ETERNAL PEACE:

Wake Keeping and Funeral Services:
The body will be removed from the Samuel B. Stryker funeral home on August 28, 2015 at 4:30 P.M. and taken to the Providence Baptist Church on Ashmun Street for wake keeping from 6:00-9:00 P.M.
All Tributes will be paid at the wake.

Funeral service takes place at the Providence Baptist church on Ashum Street on Saturday August 29, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. Interment takes place at the Kaiser Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Brewerville.
