Mitchell (Iowa), Mrs. Veronica Gadegbeku & family (Minnesota), Harmida Doe & family (New Jersey), Albert Washington’s (New Jersey), the Kuyateh's family, the Sama's family & Friends of Des Moines Iowa, and a host of sisters in Liberia, announce the home going of our beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend.
QUEENETH BEATRICE THOR, 47, Born August 28th, 1967 in Monrovia Liberia unto the union of Mr. and Mrs. Martee Thor, both deceased. She passed away in Des Moines Iowa on January 22nd, 2016. She is survived by her 2 daughters: Queenie Nah (Sweetheart) in Liberia, Patrina A. Mitchell (Iowa), 1 granddaughter: Madonna Puchie Autridge (Liberia), her adopted mother Veronica P. Gadegbeku(Minnesota), her brother Albert Washington (New Jersey), several sisters and brothers and a host of relative and friends. She graduated from the University of Liberia with B.S. degree in Business Administration and a Master in Business Management at Stayer University in Pennsylvania 2015 USA.
Memorial service will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home - 605 Lyon St. Des Moines, IA 50309 on Saturday March 5th, 2016 at 10:00 am. The interment will be at Kaiser Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Brewerville, Montserrado County, Liberia.
