Honorable Cletus Segbe Wotorson

t is with profound sadness that the Wotorson, Chieh, Dueh-Nimelypor Quarter and Sherman-Kiahon/Fahnbulleh families announce the homegoing of their beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and cousin, the Honorable Cletus Segbe Wotorson. Honorable Wotorson transitioned to be with the Lord on Monday, August 12, 2024, at his Brewerville residence in Liberia. He was a former President Pro Tempore of The Liberian Senate, former Senator of Grand Kru County, former Director, Liberia Geological Survey, former Assistant Professor of Geology, University of Liberia, former Minister of Lands, Mines and Energy, former Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer, Liberia Petroluem Refining Company, former Vice President of The Liberia Football Association, former President of The Liberia Basketball Federation, former Standard Bearer of The Liberia Action Party (LAP) and The Alliance of Political Parties (1997 Presidential Elections) and former Executive Committee Member of Unity Party. He died at the age of Eighty-Seven (87) years. He leaves to mourn his wife Cianna Sherman-Wotorson; his daughters, Snoti Wotorson, Munah Wotorson-Smith, and Wehti Wotorson-Blackledge (Terrance); his sons, Cletus Sima Wotorson, Gabriel Sio Wotorson, and Tyrone Wotorson (Victoria); and his grandchildren Malaika, Renee, Faith, Gabriel, Miehdi, Elijah, Siatta, Isaiah, Tyler, Noel, Levi. And his only surviving Sister, Theresa Tanyenoh Wotorson. Hon. Cletus Segbe Wotorson was predeceased by his parents Gabriel Sio Wotorson and Agnes Jlasnoti Chieh-Wotorson; his brothers Dr. Ambrose Wotorson, MD., Jerome Pupo Wotorson; his sisters Munah Wotorson, Cecelia Klaleh Wotorson and his grand-daughter Miatta Smith.
